Samsung Galaxy M40 is confirmed with 32MP primary rear camera

The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a 32MP head sensor for the triple camera and will be priced below Rs 20,000.

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy M40, which will be launched on June 11, will be priced at Rs 20,000 and that the phone will have a 32MP triple camera back sensor. Asim Warsi from Samsung, Senior Vice President and Head of Mobile Industry in India, revealed these details in an interaction with Gadgets 360.

According to the report, Warsi said: "The M40 will come around to give or take Rs 20,000 price points - somewhere there." He also talked about viewing the Galaxy M40, which will be the first M-series phone to feature Samsung's 'Infinity-O' display, which has a hole for the camera.

Warsi also revealed for Gadgets 360 that the display of the Galaxy M40 has "Screen Sound" technology, which means there are no earphones, and rather "sound vibrations come directly from the display." The Galaxy M40 will be an exclusive smartphone from Amazon and the website already has a dedicated banner page and "notify" option for this phone.

Samsung Galaxy M40: Expectation specifications

According to the losses, the Samsung Galaxy M40 will have a Super AMOLED screen with perforation design or what the company calls the Infinity-O screen. Instead of a notch, the front camera gets a cut in the display. The Galaxy M40 will also be the first phone in the series to run the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series processor, rather than the Samsung Exynos processor.

According to the losses, the Galaxy M40 will run the Qualcomm Snapdrago 675 processor, which was also seen on the popular Redmi Note 7 Pro. The phone could have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of maximum storage. Samsung could launch more than one RAM and a storage variant of the Galaxy M40 with different prices as it is a common trend these days.

The battery is expected to be 5,000 mAh on the Galaxy M40, as the Galaxy M20 and M30 both have the same dimensions, and Samsung is likely to continue with this feature to remove these phones.

32MP primary rear camera

The Galaxy M40 will have a triple camera on the back with Samsung that confirms a 32MP sensor to the main camera and there will probably also be a depth sensor and a wide-angle sensor on the phone. The new phone will work with Android 9 Pie with Samsung's OneUI. The company has just launched Android 9 Piece on existing M-series phones.
