Samsung's industrial subsidiaries include Samsung Electronics (the world's largest information technology company, consumer electronics manufacturer and chip maker measured in 2017), Samsung Heavy Industries (the world's second largest shipbuilding measured in 2010), and Samsung Engineering and Samsung C & T (the 13th and 36th largest construction companies in the world respectively) [9]. Samsung has a strong influence on South Korea's economic development, politics, media and culture and has been one of the main drivers of "Miracle on the Han River". Its subsidiaries produce approx. one fifth of South Korea's total exports. Samsung's revenue was 17% of South Korea's GDP of $ 1,082 billion.
Samsung Galaxy Smartphone
